Modular Timber Perforated Panels – Veneered, Painted, or Stained

Chesswood Perforated Panels are a modular timber panel system that is available in a range of shapes, sizes, and finishes. Panels are perforated in a wide variety of patterns tailor-made to suit the acoustic control requirements of any project.

Chesswood Perforated Panels are available in a standard size of 2400mm x 1200mm. However, we can produce panels custom-made to any specifications you may provide. Standard hole sizes range from 4.5mm-18mm. We can vary the drill pattern according to the open space percentage you require, however we have standard drill patterns of square, diamond, and cheese-style.

Chesswood Perforated Panels are lined with black acoustic scrim, and can be insulated according to your needs. Typically we will insulate panels with glasswool, polyester, and other products as per architect specifications.

Chesswood Slotted Panels are a modular timber panel system that is available in a range of shapes, sizes, and finishes. Panels are perforated in a wide variety of patterns tailor-made to suit the acoustic control requirements of any project.

Chesswood Slotted Panels are available in a standard size of 2400mm x 1200mm. However, we can produce panels custom-made to any specifications you may provide. Typical slot widths vary from 4.5mm-18mm, but can be customised based on the open space percentage you require. A wide range of slot patterns are available, and concealed fixings can be included as required.

Chesswood™ AcoustiSlat™ Panel System

Modular Timber Slat Panels – Veneered, Painted, or Stained

Chesswood AcoustiSlat Panels are a modular timber slat panel system that is available in a range of shapes, sizes, and finishes. Slats are arranged in a wide variety of configurations tailor-made to suit the acoustic control requirements of any project.
A distinguishing 3-dimensional effect is created by the collective use of individual beams in the AcoustiSlat panels & tiles. Individual pre-finished timber slats are affixed in a modular panel or tile arrangement which is treated to provide acoustic control with an integrated acoustic backing. Hidden fixture points are included, allowing the panels & tiles to be fixed with screws to a standard furring channel or batten system, and once installation is completed, a smooth linear flow effect is created.
A variety of choices for slat configuration and finish are available, as well as non-acoustic panels and tiles appropriate for open-plenum ventilation applications.

AcoustiPro™ Fabric Panels

AcoustiPro is a factory-made composite with multiple laminations comprising an absorption core of 25mm thick x90kg/m3 sanded face, semi-rigid glasswool board, laminated on the back with 4mm MDF board or enviro-friendly hardboard and faced with an underlay of MetaTex-toughened special membrane, co-laminated with a decorative fabric from a wide selection of types & colours. A variety of other thicknesses are also available.

The optional MetaTex interlayer adds significant acoustic performance and provides several desirable technical features to the product, such as surface toughness, reduced finger indenting, and non-sag fabric facing, making it the best product in its class.

The MetaTex can have an additional treatment to provide extra pin retention, making the panels excellent acoustic pin boards.

Chessor AcoustiFoam™ and PolyStrex™

Chessor has developed a coloured, fire retardant, soft, flexible, oven cured, cross linked copolymer coating known as PolyStrex for application to the face and edge of all acoustic foams – either plain or convoluted sheets and free-form shapes.

The PolyStrex technology provides considerable scope for the interior designer or architect to create visually attractive and cost efficient noise absorbing elements from foam.

The PolyStrex coating eliminates the unsightly problem of fading from exposure to sunlight and strong lighting whereas all other acoustic foams on the market will quickly fade.

PolyStrex does not restrict the acoustic performance of the basic acoustic foam.
